Welcome to my photographic website which I hope showcases a range of my work. The galleries reflect a variety of work as I like all types of photography.

I have been a keen photographer for well over 25 years. After throwing out my old 110 instamatic, I progressed onto 35mm photography with an old Praktica before spending college grants on Canon equipment instead of the IT courses I was supposed to be spending them on. In recent years, I, like many, have turned to digital photography.

During this time, I have had the odd picture find its way into local newspapers, taken portraits for friends and family, publicity photos, produced some pictures for a model portfolio and photographed a number of weddings in an official capacity. I am an active member of my local camera club, Sittingbourne Photographic Society, and a member of the Royal Photographic Society with the intention of improving my photography and ultimately working towards one of its recognised distinction awards.

Although I still consider myself as a hobbyist photographer, I have consistently delivered commissioned and non-commissioned work for clients and friends that is always well received.

A range of my work may be purchased online either as individual prints or as books. For more information follow the links on the Contacts page.

My Photography

It is only recently that I have taken to landscape photography very seriously. I am particularly fond of coastal photography having lived near the coast most of my life. Capturing the first light of sunrise on a misty morning is magical time.

Most of my wildlife photography is of captive animals in protected breeding programmes. I have also taken some macro work of insects but this is still a new area of photography to me.

My people and portrait photography includes formal sittings, wedding work and event photography. I enjoy photographing live bands using just the ambient stage lights with many of the pictures subsequently being used by the bands for websites and full framed prints.
